We all need a bit of change now and again, and sometimes
a small change can be just as refreshing as a complete transformation.
If you want a new look, but don’t want to completely
re-do the décor, consider creating a feature wall.
Changing the colour of one wall from a neutral shade to a
strong, exciting colour can completely alter the atmosphere
of a space, without you having to go to the effort of a total
overhaul.

Feature walls are all about making a statement and adding
interest, so the wall you choose should reflect this. Big,
plain walls can give you a blank canvas to work with, especially
if they aren’t broken up with windows or doors –
and they’re easier to paint. Alternatively, choose a
wall with a point of interest, such as a fireplace or chimney
breast, bookcase, alcove or interesting architectural feature.
